3 tips that will make you happier as a person, influencer and blogger

Let’s talk about some good old positivity. In my last post you could read about my biggest failures as an influencer, right here. And this year is all about how to find me and become a stronger individual. Well, actually a stronger influencer! So I thought about sharing that with you.

I will share with you 3 tips, that has helped me a lot by getting more confident in what I do and also made me way happier as a person and upcoming girls boss.

1. Unfollow everyone who makes you in a bad mood!

Yes, I’m sorry but it’s not personal. Take it as a compliment, it means that I think you have all your shit together and I don’t. If you are very skinny and going to the gym all the time it doesn’t really motivate ME, it just makes me feel bad about myself. Yes, it sounds super crazy but I just have to acknowledge that I’m not strong enough for that right now! I need to follow people who make me happy and that makes me feel good about myself. I understand that you are a fitness, healthy lifestyle blogger but it’s just not what’s good for me right now.

Maybe something else makes you guys annoyed, like people with a lot of designer clothes, that you are not in a position to ever afford, and it only makes you annoyed or think less about yourself, well I suggest to unfollow those people or profiles that makes you unhappy. It’s a bit mean, I know, but it’s really the truth. The most important thing in life is to be happy if that is with 10kg more fat on your body or a Chanel bag, less in your life.

2. Create content that you are happy about! 

Create content that you like, if that’s a picture of your coffee in the morning and the newspaper, well then you post that. Don’t think about you getting fewer likes on that post. Your profile has to reflect you, and consist of your identity. People will love you for your pictures and your coffee pictures even if you think that they won’t get as many likes as a bikini photo. I really had a lot of problems with thinking about what I would put out there, but in the end, it has to be my view on what’s inspiring and if I think that is a coffee photo then that’s it. Don’t get affected on the picture getting fewer likes. You put that picture out there for a reason because YOU like it.

3. I need to mention this again! Don’t compare yourself with others!

Just do you, and no one else. I was told a super good quote when I had one of these bad days, where I was crying and thinking why the hell am I doing this Instagram blogger world, I’m not good enough, no one likes my photos bla bla bla.. you know super bad and unhealthy thoughts. But then I heard this quote, which just really changed my view on everything.

The quote was like this:

“The woods would be very silent if the only birds who song, where the ones who sang the best”

I really could see how this made sense! Do you think that the biggest companies in the world where hesitating about starting their company just because someone else made the same kinda thing? I guess not. Look at how many brands sell the same kinda thing, but with their own unique version of it. Well, you should look at yourself in the same way. There are thousands of other bloggers and influencers out there, but they are not you, they don’t dress exactly like you, they don’t look like you and they definitely don’t have the same personality, likes and dislikes.

So for any bad thoughts, you might get off seeing other influencers doing it better, or whatever your thoughts might be

Turn your phone off!

put it away and go out for a walk, watch some tv and get inspired on your own again. Trust me, I know you are created and can make some good content by yourself. Again, this is not a hate message about other bloggers, I’m just trying to tell how you can avoid getting affected by others which is super easy. Maybe you think after reading this post that I’m too weak or have no creativity by myself… but I know for sure I’m not the only one. Creating should make you unique. Think about again why you started to do this in the first place, and what makes you happy about it. If people unfollow you or are not liking your posts, then focus on the ones that are liking and that is following. Those people are your true loyal followers and those you should focus on.

3 of the biggest failures I’ve experienced as an Instagram influencer

Happy New Year! I hope you had a great holiday and a fantastic new years eve. I’m all in my reflection process over the last year right now and therefore I’m Maybe it will even help some of you to understand that you are either not alone, or help you with getting back on earth like me to become a super girl boss. haha 🙂


Instagram failures of 2018


1: Saying yes to everything.


Saying yes to things that do not fit with your vision and purpose. It’s very common, I’ve seen a lot of other influencers doing it, it happened to me as well. I was afraid of saying no because I thought that it was the essence to grow. Even if there was no money offered, I would still say yes because I had the thought, that by collaborating with this brand I would grow more. I was not aligned with my own purpose. When a brand proposes a deal, you should take a step back and think of how your feelings are aligned with the purpose of the collaboration. I recently decided to quit a collaboration because I couldn’t vouch for the quality of the brand. (I’m not going to mention the brand).

2: Comparing myself to others.


This is one is a bit tricky, and I want to make a whole blog post about it, because I think it’s a problem, in general, we people have. I’ve had this all along my studies and in my social life as well. It’s a lack of self-confidence and I’m willing to admit that now. I’m just in a place right now in my life where I can’t compare myself to others as it affects my own business. It’s okay to get inspiration from others which I definitely think is part of being an influencer, you influence and you get influenced of course in your daily life. But moving back to Amsterdam and surrounding myself with people who love me, and want the best for me, definitely changed my perspective of what I want to accomplish with my Instagram life.

3: Using too much time on increasing my following.


Yes, you heard it, right girl, I’ve used countless hours following and unfollowing users on Instagram, and for what? Yes it gave me some extra followers, but not the ones I really want. Also focusing on growing all the time really made me forget about all you loyal followers that daily keep up to date with my post. You guys are the key to my Instagram, and I really understand that now. So for you guys, I’m creating my content. And there is a lot of awesome things coming up. I’m planning on sharing a lot about how to grow your Instagram, what tools and apps to use and edit your photos.

Midnight craving & snack tips with Yogi tea

Hej cuties,

Har i også svært ved at holde jer væk fra chokoladen om aftenen ligeså snart i har smidt jer på sofaen efter aftensmaden, så har jeg nu et godt tip til en sundere erstatning. Den vil ihvertfald ikke give jer dårlig samvittighed og er et super godt alternativt til chokoladen eller hvad man nu ellers har lyst til.

Ugens tip:

Det er så simpelt som det overhovedet kan være: Det er nemlig bare te! … ja du læste rigtigt, te! Men det er altså ikke en hvilken som helst te, det er nemlig denne Yogi tea med choko mint smag (se billedet nedenfor).


Den tilfredsstiller bare din trang til chokolade så enkelt er det. Jeg har nu siden jeg fik teen drukket den hver gang jeg har haft lyst til søde sager og jeg må altså sige at den gør sit trick. Da jeg nævnte det overfor min mor løb hun seriøst straks ned i Føtex og købte den! Hun var sådan rimelig hook på at hun kunne erstatte chokoladen med te! Det er da også genialt, og er man nu på slankekur og bare har mega svært ved at undvære alle de søde sager så er dette altså en rimelig god løsning tænker jeg.


Jeg vil ikke tage æren af dette tip. Faktisk da jeg var i København og besøge de søde piger fra Presskontakterna gav de mig bare et mega godt råd i forhold til snacks og trangen til dem, da snakken gik på at vi elskede at snack den. Jeg synes nemlig det er det sværeste at vænne sig af med, hvis man gerne vil bevæge sig hen imod en sundere livsstil. De nævnte derfor denne Yogi te med choko/mint smag og det første de sagde var nemlig at man godt kunne tænke “ad” i første omgang, men at teen faktisk er sindssygt god. Og efter at jeg selv gik hjem og prøvede den kan jeg virkelig forstå hvad de mente med det og det kan varmt anbefales. Den er blevet til et must i mit køkken stash, og jeg bruger den nemlig nu som erstatning til min snack lyst.

Til jer der skal have crisp:

Nu snakkede jeg så godt nok med min bedsteveninde som er personlig træner og går meget op i sund livsstil dog har hun nemlig også svært ved at vænne sig af med “snack vanen” og især hos hende er det trangen til crisp og at spise. Det forstår jeg også udmærket godt, og den trang har jeg også selv. Derfor vil te i første omgang nok være mega nederen, men hvis i smager den så vil den netop give jer den der meget mætte følelse pga. chokoladen.

Jeg håber i kan bruge dette lille tip, og tænker at jeg fremover vil dele flere af sådan nogle små tips i fremtiden, hvis i synes om det. Derfor kan i jo smide mig en kommentar om hvad i gerne vil se mere af! Ellers så blogges vi ved. <3
